We are looking to appoint an UX/UI Designer as part of the Digital Transformation Team and will be based in Madrid.  You´ll be responsible for delivering a compelling, world-class experience across our Spain digital platforms, products, and services for our English language learners. 

Key accountabilities:
•    Define and design UX and UI for ELT digital products.
•    Produce user-friendly, pixel perfect designs. 
•    Design with consistency and brand principles in mind, helping to evolve and maintain our in-house component library. 
•    Ensure that all designs are in-line with our target accessibility standards. 
•    Proactively provide creative ideas to enhance products and services. 
•    Maintain understanding of current emerging technologies and design trends. 
•    Conduct User Research and testing, analysing insights. 
•    Review both quantitative and qualitative research methods to inform and validate your design decisions. 
•    Create personas, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and low-fidelity sketches (turning them into high-fidelity digital mock-ups)
•    Provide support and advice to the OUPE product management team in all digital user experience matters.
•    Participate in Digital Transformation team activities around continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and best practice in UX and UI.


ABOUT YOU
We are looking for makers who are passionate about quality design and have a drive for innovation. You will be working closely with fellow UXUI Designers, Digital Product Managers and Product Platform Managers. 

The successful candidate will have:
Essential:
•    Experience working in UI Design
•    Professional Design experience in creating digital product
•    Good working knowledge of Adobe CC, Figma, Sketch or similar design tools
•    Interest or experience in User Research
•    CEFR level C1 in English and Spanish
Desirable:
•    Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development process
•    Basic understanding of accessible design
•    Experience of Jira

We are looking for a CLIL Editor to carry out the editing of their editorial projects until the delivery to Production, both printed and digital materials, making sure that these materials conform to the editorial line defined and within the established calendar and budgetary framework for LOMLOE projects.

Key accountabilities:
•    Prepare the author’s original work, creating the necessary pre-layout with the appropriate tools, treating the texts (bold, italics, highlights, enumerations ...) and managing the orthotypographical and style correction of them.
•    Review and correct the drafts of the printed and digital materials under your charge, ensuring the overall efficiency of the process and focusing most of the corrections on content (not on layout).
•    Select photographs to illustrate the printed or digital product, always looking for the best possible relationship between didactic quality and cost, as well as selecting any other resources already available for immediate incorporation to the product that meet the conditions of quality and appropriate cost.
•    Review the digitization of activities and the digital product before passing it to the last validation of the head of its corresponding area for publication.
•    Comply with predefined dates and deadlines to ensure the completion of the project according to the schedule established for the area of publications in which it is integrated.
•    Anticipate risks and propose solutions to problems proactively to their superiors in the editorial organization of the department.
•    Stay within the established budgetary framework, as well as anticipate and solve problems to minimize costs.
•    Acquire thorough knowledge of educational legislation and competition publications, as well as familiarizing with the needs of teachers and students through market research conducted by Oxford Education and by the visits to educational centres, reporting the results to their superiors in the organization and the department.

The successful candidate will have:
•    Degree and master’s degree in Publishing desirable
•    2 – 3 years previous experience as an editor (internal or external) 
•    Previous experience as a teacher in Spain desirable
•    Good knowledge of TIC and MS Office
•    Knowledge of layout software (InDesign), image processing (Photoshop, Photofiltre, Paint), and of Adobe Pro desirable
•    C2 level or native speaker of English

Deseamos incorporar en nuestras oficinas centrales de San Fernando de Henares, Madrid, recién graduados/as en Ciencias para colaborar en la edición de los productos de nuestra Compañía.

Las principales responsabilidades son dar apoyo al equipo de editorial en la elaboración de los recursos digitales, edición y carga de las actividades digitales, así como la revisión de los productos editoriales digitales resultantes asegurándose de que se ajustan a la línea editorial y calendario de publicación establecidos.

Formalizaremos un contrato en prácticas por lo que es necesario ser recién graduado.

Aptitudes y conocimientos deseados:

  • Grado en Ciencias (Física, Química, Biología)
  • Se valorará Máster en e-learning y/o edición digital
  • Familiarizado con herramientas 2.0 (blogs, wikis, entornos de trabajo colaborativo), html, programas tratamiento de imágenes (Photoshop), MathType
  • Orientación a resultados y al detalle
  • Capacidad de organización y planificación
  • Flexibilidad y con gran capacidad de adaptación al cambio

Les principals responsabilitats inclouen:

  • Promocionar i vendre tots els productes de la companyia als clients assignats dins del marc comercial establert.
  • Planificar i executar l'activitat diària amb els als clients segons el que estableix el pla de vendes.
  • Detectar i comunicar les necessitats específiques dels clients, amb l'objectiu d'adaptar-nos de manera més propera a les seves vostres necessitats.
  • Registre de l'activitat a través dels sistemes establerts a la companyia, i actualització de actualitzar la informació de mercat de la zona assignada.
  • Ser l'interlocutor/a vàlid/a de la companyia amb en cadascun dels clients, actuant de manera coherent segons els valors i la imatge de la companyia, i posant en valor la formació adequada en mercat i productes.

Aptituds i coneixements desitjats

  • Experiència prèvia en lloc similar al sector editorial.
  • Habilitat amb les Maneig de noves tecnologies i sistemes.
  • Nivell mínim d'anglés requerit B2.
  • Professional resolutiu/iva, amb lideratge i iniciativa.
  • Proactivitat comercial, organització de ruta i planificació a mitjà/llarg termini.
  • Excel·lents habilitats comunicatives i de negociació, capacitat per detectar necessitats i escolta activa.
  • Orientació a objectius.
  • Persona cooperadora i que li agradi el amb  gust pel treball en equip.
