We are looking to hire a Research Executive who will support the delivery of a coherent research plan to facilitate decision making and strategic planning within OUP España. Ensuring the customer voice is at the heart of the product lifecycle to inform product outcomes, drive customer satisfaction and enable commercial success of the products.
The Research Executive will focus on gathering and interpreting customer and market insight in an objective and structured manner through qualitative and quantitative market research methods, to support growth in the local English language learning market.
Supporting the Research Manager España the role will be responsible for:
- Supporting and managing qualitative and quantitative market research projects
- Supporting the reach, engagement and recruitment of current and potential customers, learners, and parents to participate in market research
- Support and when required take ownership for the design, execution, delivery, and management of qualitative and quantitative projects
- Managing and implementing a structured approach to gathering, analysing, and reporting market and competitor insights
- Support in the creation and delivery of insightful communications to stakeholders
The role will support in embedding the research team as a respective authoritative resource that acts as a true partner to stakeholders.
We operate a hybrid working policy, the role will require 2 days in the Madrid office per week.
About you
You will have some experience of, or can demonstrate an interest in, various qualitative and quantitative market research methods.
Practical experience of applying quantitative and/or qualitative methodologies (eg setting up surveys, organising focus groups) to answer business questions; from brief to designing the study through to analysis and delivery of insights is desirable.
In addition, the following skills are essential to the role:
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
- If Spanish native speaker we require a C1 English level
- If English native speaker we require a B2 Spanish level
- Microsoft Office skills
- Experience in managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data
- Problem solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to plan and manage a number of processes, people and projects simultaneously
- Good communication and influencing skills
An understanding of or interest in the English language teaching or educational market would be desirable.

Queremos reforzar nuestro equipo de Atención al Cliente para dar soporte a nuestros clientes durante los meses de campaña. Actualmente estamos trabajando en un modelo híbrido y flexible que combina el trabajo en nuestras oficinas centrales de San Fernando de Henares (Madrid) y en casa.
Es una posición temporal con fecha de inicio el 15 de junio.
Las principales responsabilidades incluyen:
- Comunicarse con los clientes para proporcionar servicio e información sobre los productos y servicios de OUP España, contestando a sus preguntas y resolviendo sus problemas con los productos y servicios.
- Atender a clientes potenciales respondiendo dudas sobre productos y servicios y sugerir información sobre los mismos.
- Realizar tareas de administración, registro y mantenimiento de datos de clientes en los sistemas y plataformas de OUP España.
- Atender las quejas de los clientes y proporcionar medios para resolver sus problemas, seleccionando y explicando la mejor solución y haciendo un seguimiento para asegurar la resolución.
- Recomendar productos o servicios potenciales mediante la recopilación de información del cliente y el análisis de sus necesidades.
- Cumplimentar informes de productos o servicios mediante la recopilación y el análisis de la información proporcionada por los clientes.
Aptitudes y conocimientos deseados
- Experiencia previa en puestos de Servicio al Cliente
- Capacidad para resolver problemas
- Excelente capacidad de comunicación telefónica y muy especialmente capacidad de escucha
- Capacidad de análisis de información
- Capacidad para trabajos multitarea
- Se valorará el conocimiento de productos y del sector de educación
